Labour Inspector (Health)

Nasrin Akter is a dedicated public service professional currently serving as a Labour Inspector (Health) under the Ministry of Labour & Employment. With a strong commitment to promoting workplace safety, health, and welfare, she works to ensure compliance with national labour laws and international occupational standards across industries in Bangladesh.

Alongside her professional responsibilities, Nasrin is pursuing her studies at Jahangirnagar University, where she continues to develop her knowledge in social policy, governance, and labour rights. Her academic and professional experiences reflect a deep passion for improving worker well-being, fostering safe workplaces, and supporting equitable labour practices.

Driven by integrity and service, Nasrin aims to contribute to building a fair, healthy, and sustainable labour environment for all.

In addition to her government role and academic journey, she is also engaged as a consultant/advisor with Skilland Training Centre (Italian Pathshala – Dhaka, Bangladesh), where she contributes her expertise in labour standards, training guidance, and institutional development.
